The app introduces a visual pause that interrupts automatic scrolling and encourages more mindful phone use.

It is intentionally minimal — there are no feeds, no social features, no gamification, and no pressure to engage.

The goal is simple: create space between impulse and action.

Data Collection

Pause: Digital Detox does not require an account.

All session data, including timers, breaks, overrides, and statistics, is stored locally on your device.

No personal information is collected, stored, or transmitted.

Screen Time Access

Pause: Digital Detox may request access to Apple’s Screen Time APIs in order to identify app categories selected by the user for intentional pauses.

This access is used only to support pause intentions and usage insights within the app.

All data remains stored locally on the device.

Data Sharing

Pause: Digital Detox does not sell, share, or transmit personal data to third parties.

No advertising networks or third-party analytics services are used.
